When people first come to
Mount Pleasant, they describe an atmosphere of warmth and kindness.
This feeling is then backed up by our attentive staff, welcoming
environment, and open ideals.
For our 44 residents, this is their home and we treat it as such.
Residents regularly invite their family and friends to come over for
special dinners, friendly lunches, special events, or just normal days.
Mount Pleasant has excellent access to public transportation, so residents
are able to go out to eat with friends or shop at the nearby downtown
Jamaica Plain.
 The Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain offers its residents and visitors beauty,

We pride ourselves on the
excellence of the Mount Pleasant staff. Our average employment is
6.5 years and for our Personal Care staff members, we are excited to
report that this department's average employment length is over 9 years.
Compared to other senior care facilities, these statistics are most
impressive.
Personal Care assists with medications, attendance to events or meals,
showers, dressing, doctor and healthcare appointments, etc. They
help with as much or little as each resident needs, encouraging the
residents to do as much as they are able.
The Living Room in any
home is the activity center and we are no different. We have musical
concerts, dancing shows, youth group performances, educational talks,
