Easter Fun
A tradition for many years now has been to have the children of
Ellen Moore's preschool group come to Mount Pleasant Home to trick or treat
for Halloween or
hunt for eggs on Easter. After the egg hunt this year, the little
ones returned to the center of the living room to investigate the contents
of their baskets and to share a treat or two. These little ones are pure enjoyment for
the residents and staff of Mount Pleasant.
Check out our Halloween page where you
can see the kids dressed up and even a whole photo album of their day at
Mount Pleasant.
And
you can't celebrate Easter without coloring Easter eggs and we had quite a
collection this year!
Two of our many favorite volunteers came to assist in the event:
Kathryn
Horan and Laura Nauth. These young ladies were participants in the
AmeriCorps program and even after the program ended, they continued to
volunteer at Mount Pleasant. We are always indebted to our
volunteers for their hard work and dedication.
