14th Annual
Backyard Party
|
Each September for 14 years, Mount Pleasant Home has hosted a
community Backyard Party. Even though the date was
postponed by one day due to torrential rain, this year's party
was chock full of family, friends, and
community members joining in the fun. |

This year's theme was "A Celebration of Caribbean Culture"
honoring the diversity of our residents, staff, and neighbors.
Branches Steel Orchestra set the tempo for a real island feel,
as an authentic Caribbean cookout was served. Neighbor Craig
Meltzer’s homemade carnival games were on hand again as was the popular moonbounce. Both young and old enjoyed cotton candy and popcorn.
Beautiful displays of our Caribbean and Central American staff
and residents graced the grounds. |
