Congratulations, Red Sox!!!

Mount Pleasant Home is full of Red Sox fans, and they were on the edge of their seats during the playoffs and World Series!

The excitement would mount throughout each game day, culminating in the living room full of residents ready to watch the Sox win another! Some are lifelong, diehard fans, like Phyllis Nelder who attended many a game with her husband back in the day. She has a "special" gesture she uses when the Sox "need a little more help." She swears she can make them get out of a tight situation by tapping her two index fingers together. Hard for anyone to say that it didn't work!

Resident and Diehard Fan, Phyllis Nelder                         Resident Frank Lucey                                      Resident Connie Widder
