Mount Pleasant Home has launched its
first major expansion project since moving to its current building in
1926.
To continue its mission of serving low
income elders for the next century and beyond, MPH will renovate the
existing building and add a beautiful new wing to provide a home for 60
residents.
The
$20 million project includes a light-filled atrium connecting the new
wing with the renovated original building. Outside the new entryway will
be a paved courtyard. To complete the project, MPH is offering family,
friends, staff, and community members an opportunity to buy a
personalized brick for the courtyard.
